Terms & Conditions

Last updated: January 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By purchasing a ticket to or attending Fuego Maastricht – Latino Festival 2026 ("the Festival"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.

2. Invitation-Only Nature

Fuego Maastricht is a large-scale event that operates exclusively through private contacts and word of mouth. The Festival does not maintain any social media accounts or public advertising channels. Access to ticket purchasing and event information is shared privately. By receiving access to this website or purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that you were personally referred and agree not to publicly distribute event details, links, or internal communications without prior written consent from the organiser.

3. Tickets

All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or significantly altered by the organiser. Tickets may not be resold for commercial gain. The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone found to have purchased a ticket through an unauthorised channel.

  • One ticket grants entry to one person for the full five-day festival (12–16 May 2026).
  • Tickets must be presented at the gate in digital or printed form with a valid ID.
  • Lost or stolen tickets cannot be replaced.
  • Tickets may only be transferred to another person with the organiser's approval.

4. Age Requirement

Fuego Maastricht is strictly an 18+ event. All attendees must be at least 18 years of age at the time of the festival. A valid government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID card, or driver's licence) must be presented at check-in. Entry will be refused to anyone unable to provide valid proof of age, without refund.

5. VIP Access

VIP access is exclusively reserved for close friends of the organisers and is granted by personal invitation only, at the base ticket price. VIP guests receive a yellow wristband, granting unlimited drinks served exclusively at the dedicated VIP bar inside the VIP section. VIP access is non-transferable and is granted at the sole discretion of the organisers. VIP drinks may not be taken outside the VIP area.

6. Entry & Check-In

Daily check-in opens at 09:00 and closes at 19:30. Attendees who arrive after the closing time will not be admitted until the following morning. The organiser accepts no liability for costs incurred as a result of late arrival.

7. Code of Conduct

All attendees are expected to behave respectfully towards other guests, artists, and staff at all times. Fuego Maastricht operates a strict zero-tolerance policy. The following are strictly prohibited on-site:

  • Illegal substances or drugs of any kind — bringing drugs onto the festival grounds is strictly forbidden and will result in an immediate ban and report to the police
  • Bringing outside drinks or alcohol onto the festival grounds — all drinks must be purchased on-site
  • Weapons, sharp objects, or any dangerous items
  • Physical altercations or fighting between attendees — any form of violence results in an immediate and permanent ban
  • Disrespect, verbal abuse, or threatening behaviour towards staff, security, or volunteers — this is a direct ban without warning
  • Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind towards any person on-site
  • Unauthorised professional recording or photography
  • Sharing internal event details, photos, or videos on public social media platforms without prior written consent
  • Theft or tampering with other attendees' belongings
  • Entering restricted areas, backstage zones, or staff-only sections without authorisation
  • Excessive intoxication that endangers yourself or others or causes disturbance — if you are intoxicated but not causing trouble, we will not intervene

Any violation of the above rules results in immediate removal from the festival grounds and a permanent ban from all future editions, without refund. The organiser's decision is final and non-negotiable.

If at any point you feel unwell or suspect that you may have been drugged, contact a staff member immediately. There will be more than 50 staff members present across the festival grounds at all times. Your safety is our priority — do not hesitate to ask for help. Staff can be identified by their official festival crew badges.

8. Rest Time Rules (06:30 – 12:30)

During rest time (06:30 – 12:30), all music and amplified sound stops. Attendees are permitted to eat and move around the grounds, but must keep noise levels to a minimum out of respect for others who are sleeping. The following applies during rest hours:

  • No loud music, shouting, or disruptive behaviour in the camping or communal areas
  • If another attendee reports you for excessive noise during rest time, the organiser will issue a direct ban — no warnings
  • Food and drink service may be available at designated quiet zones only
  • Generators, portable speakers, and amplified sound devices are prohibited at all times in the camping area

9. Security & Safety Measures

For the safety of all attendees, the following security measures are in effect throughout the festival:

  • Bag searches and security checks are conducted at every entry point — attendees must cooperate fully
  • Security personnel are present 24 hours a day and have the authority to remove anyone who poses a risk
  • First aid stations are available on-site at marked locations and are staffed throughout the festival
  • Emergency exits and evacuation routes are clearly marked — do not block them at any time
  • The organiser reserves the right to search any tent or personal belongings if there is reasonable suspicion of prohibited items
  • Glass bottles and containers are not permitted on the festival grounds — all drinks are served in cups
  • Fire and open flames (including candles, cooking stoves, and barbecues) are strictly forbidden in the camping area
  • Attendees must wear their wristband visibly at all times — failure to present a valid wristband may result in removal
  • Any lost or found items should be reported to the help desk at check-in

The organiser works closely with local law enforcement and emergency services. Any criminal activity will be reported to the Dutch police (Politie) and may result in prosecution under Dutch law.

10. Confidentiality & Communication

All communications from the organiser — including event details, line-up announcements, and logistical information — are delivered via private email only. The Festival has no official social media presence. Any accounts claiming to represent Fuego Maastricht on social platforms are unauthorised. Attendees are asked to respect the private nature of the event and refrain from publicly sharing event content online.

11. Health & Safety

Attendees participate in all festival activities at their own risk. The organiser maintains appropriate insurance and safety measures, but accepts no liability for personal injury or loss of personal property unless caused by the organiser's negligence.

12. Event Changes & Cancellation

The organiser reserves the right to alter the programme, line-up, or schedule at any time without prior notice. In the event of full cancellation due to circumstances beyond the organiser's control (including force majeure), a refund policy will be communicated via the official website and direct email.

13. Privacy

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Maastricht.
